When a vehicle is fitted with a suspension lift, the caster angle is adversely affected because of the change in the angles of the front radius arms. Correcting the caster angle will improve the steering self-centering, directional stability and straight line tracking.
Using a Radius Arm to Diff Mount Caster Correction bush kit will allow up to 3 degrees caster increase, therefore allowing the wheel alignment adjustment required to restore the caster angle to acceptable tolerances thus improving steering response.
